Smokers had prime seating under the portico next to the doors, which leads to what you might expect.
The lobby and restaurants were so cold all the time, we had to wear coats to eat. We passed housekeeping each day and not once did they acknowledge us or ask if we needed anything. The room was stark: had no towel holders by the sinks which were next to walls, no kleenex in room, no exhaust in the bath, no papers about the hotel or city in the room. Room was clean and quiet - the only nice things I can say. We arrived after 4:00 and our room wasn't ready for another hour. We carried all our luggage in in a downpour. It was pouring rain but we were told we couldn't even unload our car to check in when under the portico. I am not one to write negative reviews but from the moment we arrived, it was not a good experience.
